Front desk is atrocious, well one person in particular!!!! This girl was combative and condensing, with the maturity to match. There was no sense of care in her demeanor but a sense of entitled arrogance.
Each and every person that walks through that door is in need of a doctor. With that said there should be more care and understanding when interacting with the customer. Debating with the customer is absolutely inexcusable.
Michelle, the office manager is awful. I called for a non urgent sick visit. I didn't expect to be seen today, considering its Friday around noon, but I did expect respect when I called to schedule. The first available they could offer me was December 6, today is October 27. I said, okay Ill take it because like I said this matter is not urgent. But the receptionist did not even ask what I was being seen for. I asked her if she wanted to know and she said no. From her attitude, I asked if I could speak to the office manager. Well now I see and understand why the front desk staff is as awful as it is. She was very argumentative, stating she has excellent front desk staff. After listening to her argue and belittle me, as a person, she then said I was an "unhappy" person, and that I will be receiving a letter in the mail for discharge since they could not make me happy.
The fact that this practice terminated a long time employee with breast cancer should say it all! ...Dr. Constantly wanting to schedule follow ups, and does nothing at the appointments. (Since my review, they have terminated me and my husband from their practice!) They also didn't like the fact that I called out the physicians for post dating prescriptions which is illegal
Aa for the doctors and nurses, they are amazing!!! Too bad the first encounter leaves a bad image of MHG.
Overall, management is poor, front desk staff is poor. In the past I have referred my patients to this practice for primary care, I will definitely not be doing that now.
Sometimes you have to wait in a doctor's office. Knowing this going in makes it easier for me to "wait" perhaps the persons ahead of me are having really difficult/serious medical problems Maybe there was a medical emergency with a patient and they need more doc time. I know when I needed more time, I was given more time, and I appreciated that. Going to the doctor is never fun. I like my doc and while the new office is further away, I will take that ride up 95.
